This matcha comes from tea master Noriyasu Uejima, a fifth-generation farmer in Wazuka Village, Kyoto, where tea has been cultivated for centuries. Uejima-san is the only tea master to achieve a perfect score in Kyoto’s prestigious tea-tasting competition—a testament to his craft.
