This matcha comes from tea master Noriyasu Uejima, a fifth-generation farmer in Wazuka Village, Kyoto, where tea has been cultivated for centuries. Uejima-san is the only tea master to achieve a perfect score in Kyoto’s prestigious tea-tasting competition—a testament to his craft. His matcha, served at the Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, reflects generations of dedication to excellence. From field to cup, this is matcha rooted in tradition, mastery, and an unwavering pursuit of quality.
